When you walk or drive through the tunnel between the Overschiestraat – Luchtvaartstraat in Amsterdam, you find yourself in the middle of a work of art by Aam Solleveld, performed by Iwaarden. It is a mural in black/white, clear and full of contrast, that creates a sense of movement, due to the changing image. The metamorphosis of the 75m long tunnel was commissioned by the Nieuw-West and Zuid district of the municipality of Amsterdam. Combined with the new lighting, you will no longer feel unsafe.
