The works of art by Job Wouters

The work of Job Wouters, who works under the pseudonym Letman, is a mixture of calligraphy and typography, carried out in his own ‘handwriting’, an illustrative and calligraphic painting technique. For the works of art at the Nationale Ombudsman, Job Wouters was inspired by oriental drawing symbols, ornaments, patterns and plants, but also by illustrations of glass objects, buttons and wings. He has realized these diverse subjects in his masterly handwriting, in exciting colour combinations that contrast with the bright white walls.

Preparation of the work of art

Iwaarden took care of the preparations, by painting all walls and coloured areas. Job Wouters could focus on his works of art, which he applied on the spot. We look back on a pleasant cooperation and are proud to be part of this wonderful project.
