Feeling at home with artworks on apartment buildings
Iwaarden, commissioned by Ymere, applied murals and concrete decorations on the facades and entrances of 5 apartment buildings in the district Graan voor Visch in Hoofddorp. It concerns artworks by Aam Solleveld who was inspired by the interiors of a couple of residents. The artworks on facades and entrances complete the major maintenance work on the apartment buildings and give the entrance of the district a beautiful, new look. Ymere hopes the art will give the places an identity and unique character, an experience and a special story.
