Artwork Gino Hud Holting adorns porches
Ymere has asked artist and draftsman Gino Bud Hoiting to create an artwork for the windows of porches at Oldewierde, Kimwierde and Langshof in Almere. They are large, white line drawings cut from foil by Iwaarden, glued to the windows. The drawings are based on stories, observations, hobby’s, pets, sports and fascinations of the residents. An artwork for the entire neighbourhood, that makes every porch unique.
About the artist
Gino Bud Hoiting is a Dutch illustrator, born and raised in Utrecht. In 2009 he started his own studio with attention to both commercial and personal projects. The commercial work concerns illustrations for (online) magazines, newspapers, books, posters, flyers, banners and company brands. His personal projects consist of drawings, animations and illustrations, that he exhibits nationally and internationally. He draws in line, with pen on paper, creating a clear and tangible image.
