A colorful work of art by visual artist Anuli Croon can be seen on the glass wall of a loft in Rotterdam. The residents of the house asked for a solution for the glass front that offered too little privacy. Anuli developed an abstract green with different color accents in which birds, multiple horizons, flower and leaf ornaments are incorporated.
The design of Anuli is printed by Iwaarden on a matte semi-transparent windowfilm. Shapes and contours are cut from the foil so that a game is created between the matte foil, printed color areas and transparent parts. The whole is mounted on the windows on location. The light that enters and is different every moment of the day means that the work of art constantly changes in atmosphere and color. Hard and soft shadows cast a beautiful shadow play on the walls and floor all day long. The artwork has become part of the interior and offers the residents atmosphere and privacy while maintaining an open feeling.
