Inspiration, innovation and interior design at Design Week Milan

From colour to contrast, glass to graphic patterns - Design Week Milan was once again a vibrant source of inspiration. Our team immersed itself in the world of interior design. Eye-catching design where creativity and innovation reinforce each other.

What struck us immediately? The power of colour. Neon accents alternated with tonal shades and playful contrasts. Materials such as glass were used in surprising ways: transparent, mirrored, layered. The interaction with light and shadow created dynamic effects that kept changing as you walked past.

In terms of wall coverings, we saw many textiles and 3D structures, with graphic patterns recurring on walls, tiles and fabrics. Also inspiring were the many light objects and installations: moving, narrative, and, above all, atmospheric. Light as a design component was central.

For us at Iwaarden, such a week is more than just looking - it is fuel for our creative process. We take this inspiration into how we design and supervise interior design projects.
