Colourful materials and sustainable development at the first trade shows of the year

Rotterdam Art Week
In the beginning of 2024 we kicked off during the Rotterdam Art Week. During this week we visited two different events. We started with a creative tour in the HAKA building at Object Rotterdam. Coloured mirror glass, paper and light were elements we encountered everywhere.

The second event was Art Rotterdam. Here, the use of colourful material continued. It was very inspiring to discover the versatility of materials in art.

Material District Utrecht
We visited Material District in the atmospheric Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht. The name says it all; it was all about materials. We saw innovative and sustainable solutions. For students, designers, interior designers, architects and producers, this event was a source of inspiration. Once again, we saw many colourful applications, with a strong emphasis on promoting sustainability in the design industry. Materials that not only looked beautiful, but also contributed to a healthier, more sustainable living environment. Even with materials like concrete, glass, fabric and plastic, we observed an increasing focus on recycling. Excited by so much creativity, we returned to Barneveld with a backpack full of inspiration.

Fespa Global Print Expo
The latest techniques to bring colour to life? We discovered them at the end of March at the Fespa Global Print Expo in Amsterdam. This international trade fair for signing and large format printing was full of innovations and technology. Product launches, the most advanced printers, workflow systems and sustainable solutions; we saw it all here. In order to stay ahead in the field of large format printing, it was essential to observe the latest techniques and innovations. Good contact and collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers were crucial in this regard. In this way we can ensure the quality of our prints and continually surprise our customers with the most beautiful colours and most creative print solutions.
